Background to Holly Cottage….
The original cottage dated back to the 1940's and was known as Cattleman's Cottage. In the 1950's it was extended and remained in its current form right through until the 2000's as the stockman's cottage for the farm.
It was renamed Holly Cottage as historically there was an avenue of Holly Trees that ran up beside the cottage.
In 2013 we embarked on a huge redevelopment of the property following the grant of planning permission to further extend and remodel the property. The intention was to create a high quality modern home that combined some of the charm of the old yet did not compromise on the expectations of a comfortable and luxurious holiday getaway.
On visiting there is a book you can enjoy showing the full transformation of Holly Cottage. A few photographs are depicted below.
